Gemful Caverns: A peaceful Metroidvania about finding and collecting gems.

Let's enjoy a stroll through the caverns and try to find all the hidden gems!

Made for The Metroidvania Month 13 Jam. Made in C with Raylib.

Keyboards and Gamepads are both supported.

Press Alt + F4 to quit at any time.

Press Alt + Enter to switch between maximized or default sized window.

The window may be resized by dragging the edges.

Keyboard Controls:

WASD to move

Press W to enter a door.

Jump: Press J. Hold J longer to jump higher.

Dash: Press K (after you get the dash upgrade).

Pause: Press Escape.

Gamepad controls (tested with XBox controller):

D-pad or left analog stick to move

Press UP to enter a door

Jump: A button (XBox) / X button (Playstation)

Dash: B button (XBox) / Circle button (Playstation)

Pause: Press Start.

The game is auto-saved when you enter a door. You will continue where you left off if you quit the application.

If you want to start a brand new game, delete the storage.data file that is next to the game's executable file.

Make it through all the rooms and find the big gold door to win!

For an extra challenge, try to collect all 50 gems! There are 10 in each room.

I am looking for feedback, not only on the game design, but also if you encounter any performance issues or bugs.

Thanks for any input you can give!
